Can you send me what arguments you are calling SPSouce with?

I too am receiving the same error as above while trying to reverse engineer a content type. The command line I am using is C:\Program Files\SPSource\SPSource.exe -designsite http://myserver.com/. Any help would be appreciated.

This error is actually because you are running spsource.exe -designsite and not spsource.exe --designsite.

Cheers,

Apologies, I've now updated the documentation guides.
